CCCS of the Midwest is the nation’s first and oldest non-profit consumer credit counseling agency and offers comprehensive, confidential counseling that addresses individual financial situations and identifies options in the person’s best interest.  CCCS provides in-person, telephone and Internet counseling throughout the country and has over 50 community-based offices in 8 states – Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, and Western Pennsylvania.

For the investor, the program recycles the defaulting borrower from the cash-stressed subprime portfolio, and creates a good bank holding an investment-grade performing loan portfolio under a structure better designed to withstand a borrower default.
